The idea of pairing steak and seafood was popularized in the late 1960's with Atlantic Coast restaurants offering various "surf and turf" combinations that showcased the highest-quality items on their menus. The fact that these pairings produced such delicious flavors is
why we continue to enjoy them, and associate such a feast with special, celebratory occasions like Father's Day.
The Fish Market's signature mesquite charcoal grills are the ones doing the work, and they'll be lit up early for Father's Day weekend. We've paired a Niman Ranch "All Natural" New York steak with your choice from three of the world's finest crustaceans. For $24.95, we offer steak with grilled Sea of Cortez prawns. Or try the steak with steamed Alaskan red king crab for $29.95. Our third, and perhaps best, possibility is steak with one-half of a grilled Canadian lobster tail for $30.95. Each featured pairing comes with your choice of
clam chowder or Caesar salad to start, plus roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes to accompany your entrée.
