Smoked Fish Gift Boxes

Smoked fish from The Fish Market is always a popular
item to buy from the retail seafood market around holiday time. Best served
with an assortment of your favorite crackers, capers, thinly-sliced red
onions and Brie cheese, and arranged on a platter with grapes or sliced
pear, smoked fish makes the perfect appetizer for a family gathering or
holiday party. Many of you know that our fish is smoked in the mild European
traditional style, using a blend of hickory and sugar maple woods, at our
facility in South San Francisco. What you may not know is that, every year
at this time, we produce a limited number of special gift boxes of smoked
fish for sale at each restaurant’s retail market.
The Fish Market offers a gift box containing an impressive whole fillet
of cold-smoked, sliced Scottish salmon (aka lox). We also offer a gift box
that includes a combination of our hot-smoked fish – King salmon,
Rainbow trout, Pacific swordfish and Albacore tuna – plus a portion
of lox. In addition, we just introduced a “mini-combo” box of
salmon, albacore and lox.
