Aiden is The Fish Market’s resident seafood expert and director of quality control. He also oversees the smoked fish processing and major purchasing of seafood for their wholesale company Farallon Fisheries.

A Dublin, Ireland native Aiden has over 45 years experience in the seafood industry ranging from a journeyman apprenticeship in retail to foreman of a processing plant, wholesale fish auctions and master fish smoker.

Aiden is a former President of the California Seafood Council and is currently a member of the Seafood Business magazine editorial review board. A media spokesperson for the industry. Aiden has appeared on CNN,ABC,CBS,PBS and several news/talk radio shows. A staunch advocate of consumer education he is regularly invited to speak to trade associations, consumer science groups and chambers of commerce. In 1988, with the support of The Fish Market he founded a marine outreach program for schools that continues to be successful today.
