Welcome to The Fish Market and Top of the Market in San Diego. Both restaurants are located in the same building and overlook the beautiful San Diego Bay. We are conveniently located in Downtown San Diego only minutes from the airport and the San Diego Convention Center.

THE FISH MARKET RESTAURANT on the first floor offers a comfortable, professional and family oriented dining experience, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We serve the highest quality fresh fish prepared in our traditional mesquite broiled style.

TOP OF THE MARKET is our more formal restaurant on the second floor. Here you will experience the elegance of fine dining with professional, yet friendly service. We serve the same highest quality fresh fish prepared with a more creative approach.

FACILITIES AVAILABLE

At THE FISH MARKET we have private rooms available for groups of different sizes with prior guarantees of specific numbers.

The Banquet Room is a handsomely appointed private room separated from the rest of our restaurant. The room can accommodate parties of up to 60. With large windows facing the water it’s the perfect place for a casual cocktail party, business meeting, or formal dinner.

The Elevated Dining Area is an area in our restaurant with the views to the outside but the comfort of the inside. We are able to able to provide for groups of 12 to 28 in this area of our restaurant.

The Outside Waterside Deck is the perfect spot to host that Cocktail party or Mixer on the water. It is a completely outside boardwalk area on the water. It’s the perfect place for your special event equipped with umbrellas and the San Diego Bay. This area can accommodate your special event for up to 30 people.

The Fireside Lounge is a small inside area in our bar next to the fireplace that is perfect for groups of up to 25. Seated next to the fireplace your guests can enjoy cocktails, appetizers, or meals and still with that great San Diego Bay view.

At TOP OF THE MARKET there are special areas set aside to make your special event even more special.

The Fish Bowl is a private all glass room that can accommodate parties from 12 to 24. With breathtaking views all around it is the perfect atmosphere for your special affair.

The Horseshoe is an area just adjacent to the windows. We can accommodate smaller parties by configuring tables for groups of 12, or larger parties up to 24.

Our South Patio as its name suggests is another completely glass enclosed area outside above the water on the patio. It has an awning ceiling and heaters making it the perfect place year round. All the fun of dining outside is yours, but without the elements putting a damper on your affair. It’s the perfect spot to host your parties of 8 to 18 year round.

The North Deck If dining al fresco is what you have in mind this is the perfect place. Under the sun or stars this completely outside deck can host cocktail parties, Mixers, luncheons, and dinners for any special event. The deck is immediately adjacent to our Fish Bowl and can also be used as a reception area with that room. This area has umbrellas and heaters available for you so there is no time that’s not the perfect time for a party weather permitting. Our Top of the Market Deck can accommodate groups up to 30.
