Fish Market reopens after May fire

The Fish Market Restaurant on Harbor Drive reopened for business Monday after a fire forced it to close for repairs for two months.
A kitchen fire broke out in the bayside restaurant during the dinner rush on May 27. The fire caused $1 million in damage and no one was injured.
Dwight Colton, vice president of operations for the company, said in a statement that the owners updated the restaurant with a new color palette, ceiling treatments, fabrics and wall coverings during the rebuilding process.
“We refreshed elements of the interior that we hope will be pleasing to our guests,” Colton said. “In addition, our employees are very excited to be back in the building.
Along with the reopening of The Fish Market, its sushi, oyster and cocktail bars, as well as the retail seafood market, are open and fully operational.
